NGC 2403 (also known as Caldwell 7) is an intermediate spiral galaxy located approximately 8 to 11 million light-years away in the northern constellation of Camelopardalis. It is an outlying member of the M81 Group, which also includes the famous galaxies M81 and M82. NGC 2403 is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere. Blow this up and look around for some tiny galaxies.
