Crab Nebula M1 in Taurus 6500 ly away

The Crab Nebula is a supernova remnant called a planetary nebula meaning it is a star that blew up. Why they call them planetary nebula is unclear to me. I imagine it is an historical artifact for which someday I may find the explanation. Crab Nebula is also the first item in Messier Catalog, M1.
Honestly, I need a more powerful (longer focal length) telescope to image this item. This ends up a low resolution picture by the time I crop it (1500 pixels square). And, it truly amazes me that I can present this pic. Between PixInsight and carefully capturing pics as well as a lot of them I end up with a detailed pic that truly gives one an idea what this object would look like if we could get close. Ya space and the technology to see it for amateurs.
This will almost certainly be my last image for 2025. My next image that will likely occur in January will be taken using monochrome technology meaning I will image through filters separately for red, green and blue and eventually for Sulphur 2, Hydrogen Alpha and Oxygen 3 as well. The world seems to say that this will further expand the quality/detail of my photos and provide me more/better data to develop pics using PixInsight. We’ll find out!
