Blessed Winter Solstice!

This morning I shared a sense of wondering and hopeful anticipation with my Crows and other Punchinello Prairie wildlife as Winter Solstice sunrise approached. With great beauty, ancient mystery, and marvelous reliablity, indeed she did arrive! The dawn sun's first rays swept across Feannóg Grian Stone Circle's Winter Solstice Stone and across the prairie in a precise path. This sunrise is the lowest and farthest south of the year. When we built Feannóg Grian, my Druidic boulder circle, we aligned this stone to bear witness to that timeless event.

Our longest night has past. The sun returns. All is well.
