A very lucky morning.

I saw a juvenile bald eagle in a tree on the edge of the lake yesterday but hadn't brought a camera and lens that could reach far enough to get a good photo. So I returned this morning with more capable gear and was pleasantly surprised to see an adult bald eagle in the same tree. It allowed me to set up a tripod, get fairly close and take all the photos that I wanted. I then looked for a nest, but didn't see one. I'll keep looking...
