“Not Alone Under Falling Stars”
On 12/14/2025 01:00 am by Abhishek Konale | Website | Gujarat, India
Most of my nights chasing the cosmos are spent alone with silent camps, cold winds, and long waits. But this night was different.
In a gorge so hidden that even local villagers know it only through legend, I waited for the Geminids to arrive. Hours passed as meteors streaked quietly across the sky, with Jupiter glowing bright and Orion anchoring the heavens.
This was my first time witnessing the Geminids, and every meteor felt like a reward for patience. But the greatest difference wasn’t in the sky, it was beside me. Sharing falling stars with family made this night rarer than the meteors themselves.
