More than 25 Geminid meteors were captured over about three hours under partly clear skies on the night of December 13, one day ahead of the shower peak. This composite image shows the Geminid twins beside Jupiter above the steaming Ottawa River, with some sky glow in the southeast and a very weak Aurora glow in the north east. A few impressive bright meteor streaks along with many weaker flashes aligned to the apex near Castor.
