Coypu

The furry rodent is a nutria, also known as coypu, scientific name Myocastor coypus. Differentiate the nutria from a beaver by the nutria's white whiskers and bright orange teeth. Of the several photos I took this is the only one showing his characteristic orange incisors. The species is considered invasive. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) listed the nutria as one of "100 of the World's Worst Invasive Alien Species."
