I captured this view of the 2025 Geminid meteor shower after the clouds cleared shortly past midnight.

High clouds covered parts of the sky early in the night, but conditions improved significantly after 1:00 AM, revealing a clear sky where several Geminid meteors appeared across the radiant in Gemini. The mountains provided a dark and stable horizon, making the display especially beautiful as the meteors traced long, bright streaks above the landscape.
