NGC 247 (Caldwell 62) is a nearby spiral galaxy in the Sculptor Group, located in the constellation Cetus at a distance of approximately 11 million light-years. Spanning about 21′ × 7′, it exhibits a low surface brightness (V ≈ 9.9) and an asymmetric disk containing numerous scattered H II regions and a prominent stellar void. The images were produced by stacking approximately 1,800 subframes of 10 seconds each, corresponding to a total exposure time of 3 hours, acquired with a Seestar S50 telescope under Bortle 7 skies.

A total of 1,800 10-sec subframes, corresponding to a total exposure of 3 hours were automatically stacked and then enhanced using the "denoise option".
