Mercury at dawn

I was trying for a visual view of Mercury's tail, using a 589nm narrowband filter, but no luck with the small telescope and hazy sky. I was able to see the phase (69.5% gibbous). I will try again with a larger scope and better skies soon, or in February, when greatest elongation coincides with perihelion.
