This image shows a detailed telescopic view of the Moon near the terminator, revealing sharp craters, mountain ranges, and lunar seas. You can see major features like Archimedes, Autolycus, Cassini, and Eratosthenes, along with the Montes Apenninus and Montes Caucasus mountain ranges. Mare Imbrium and Mare Serenitatis are also visible, and even the Apollo 15 landing site is marked. The labels make it easy to understand the structure of this scientifically rich region of the Moon.
