the huge pair AR4294-96 is already detectable with protected eye alone at the 4 o'clock limb in the morning and 12 o'clock in the afternoon (due to field rotation) as seen from 33° south; the main body of AR4294 is five Earths tall and wide without correcting fore shortening.
