Summer Beneath the Winter Milky Way

Ever since I started my astro journey my goal has always been to photograph Orion and its gases. And this is it, my first Orion photo!
This is a very special constellation in my family. As kids growing up in Brazil, my brother and I used to look for the Orion’s Belt constantly, one of the few stars we could identify. We call it As Três Marias in Portuguese (The Three Marys).
As a bonus I aimed to include Matariki (Pleiades, as it's called here in New Zealand) appear on the left side, and the Gum Nebula on the right side.
This was taken on a very peaceful night in Coromandel.
