SH2-216 largest planetary nebula in Perseus 400 ly away

I had a little time left in this cycle of the moon and since this object was a good 120 deg behind the moon I decided to go ahead and image it. I still had my ASI585MC on my telescope and just thought I would give it a try. Next year I plan to image this with my ASI2600MC believe it or not it will pretty much fill the frame after all it is the largest planetary nebula in the sky (and second closest to earth). And, it is quite dim thus using 15 minute exposures. I was surprised with just under 10 hours total exposure it resulted in an ok pic. This image shows the left side of the entire nebula that includes the actual SH2-216 object.

I decided to go ahead and send in this pic because someone else might be curious about this most unusual object. Evidently it is quite old as well and that seems to help explain its large size and dimness. If you are not aware planetary nebula are stars that have blown apart (why they call them planetary nebula I have no idea). These are most interesting objects.
