I’m not sure how I found out about this one and it is most interesting. It is located in the central part of Taurus. It’s certainly not a popular object to image. I, however, find it quite interesting. SH2-239 is the central object. LDN1551 includes all the surrounding dust/dark nebula (not dark hole) . Evidently, LDN1551 contains 50 times more material than our sun! Who figured that out? Space is just so fascinating. The amount of scientific work to learn more about our Universe and space overall is so extraordinary!!!
If you want to see a truly incredible version of this object see what Adam Block did with an image taken with a 32" telescope (mine is 3.15"). https://www.adamblockphotos.com/sh2-239.html

This one took a little while to develop because I tried different techniques to improve the colors and detail.
