Comet 240P/NEAT, and its new fragment , 240P-B/NEAT

Comet 240P/NEAT has broken off a smaller fragment, designated as 240P-B/NEAT. I have never seen anything like this. Watching the little fragment follow the mother comet, as it moved against the background stars, was an amazing experience. I don't think I would have been able to see this visually, through an eyepiece, so being able to witness this live, on my tablet screen, was just incredible.
