Large X-class flare 5.16 appeared in solar region 4274

On November 11, a large X-class flare 5.16 appeared in solar region 4274. This flare caused very large auroras visible even at very low latitudes. The vision of X-class flares is occurring quite frequently in these years of maximum solar activity and always creates fascinating spectacles. With appropriate instruments and an H-Alpha filter, sunspots, flares and filaments can be seen.
