California Nebula in Perseus 1000 ly away

One thing for sure, being an astrophotographer is easier this time of year because where I live the skies seem to be clearer when it is cold and most of all because it is dark for 11+ hours instead of the 6 in summer!
My relatively new gear along with using PixInsight really brought this pic out in a way my previous photos had not. I left the dust in the pic because it shows what is out there in space. This is a classic example of a reflection nebula with the bright star in the pic being the light bulb. And no question, this nebula resembles the state of California on a map. More fun in space.
