In the evening of November 2, I captured Saturn with its rings seen almost edge-on — a rare sight that happens only once every 15 years, around the planet’s equinox.
Through the telescope, the rings looked like a thin line dividing light and shadow.
A quiet, distant world, perfectly balanced in the darkness of space.
