Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) beneath the Great Bear in the Egyptian Twilight
On 10/18/2025 07:00 pm by OSAMA FATHI | Fayoum, Egypt
Captured shortly after sunset at 7:30 p.m. local time, this serene desert sky shows Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) glowing faintly between the constellations Ursa Major (the Great Bear) and Boötes. The bright orange star Arcturus shines to the left, while the comet’s delicate blue tail rises from the horizon of Egypt’s Fayoum Desert, blending with the fading twilight.
Taken from the Qatrani area near Lake Qarun, the photograph connects the ancient fossil-rich landscape with the timeless motion of the heavens.
