Through the fish eye lens myriad stars shine in the heavens with the Milky Way now appearing faint.
In late October and through winter due to the Earth's orbital position our view is directed toward the dimmer, outer arms of the galaxy, rather than the brighter galactic center.The view of the galactic core has moved below the horizon during prime viewing hours thus "off season" for The Milky Way.
