The Pleiades (7 Sisters) in Taurus 444 ly on avg away

The Pleiades is just plain and simple one of the most beautiful and people with simpler gear can photograph it relatively easily. As I said above I decided to show more of the surrounding dust in this version of the pic. This color of blue is just so wonderful!

PixInsight 100%. Because it is primarily blue and straightforward this was a relatively easy to develop. The big decision on this pic was whether or not to show how much dust is in Pleiades. I went for showing more dust because in reality it is there. Most people darken the background because the blue and black make such a contrast. Maybe I will do that the next time.
