Truly a once in a lifetime chance to capture this! Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) will not return for approximately 22,554 years and tonight is the ONLY night it will be close to the object known as M16 (The Eagle nebula), which Hubble made famous for it’s photo of the Pillars of creation. Yes the comets nucleus is elongated, but it was either track the comet or M16.
All done right from my backyard….mind blown!
