I was timelapsing Comet Lemmon rising from behind the mountains when there was a bright flash. It turned out one of my photos captured an Orionid meteor breaking up in the atmosphere. The Orionids peak Oct 21st so I was expecting to be seeing the meteors 5 days in advance.
