Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) captured over the Black Desert, Egypt.
On 09/27/2025 03:00 am by OSAMA FATHI | Black Desert
The image shows the bright nucleus and extended tail of the comet rising above the dark volcanic hills of the Black Desert, under one of the most pristine skies in Egypt. The composition was photographed using a RedCat 51 refractor and a modified Nikon Z6 camera.
The Black Desert’s low humidity and excellent transparency allowed the faint tail structure and subtle color gradients of the comet to appear vividly against the morning twilight.
Equipment: RedCat 51 + Nikon Z6 (modified)
Exposure:
• Comet: stack of 20 × 30 sec and 20 × 1 min frames
• Foreground: single 30 sec exposure
