On 09/25/2025 05:25 am by Andrew Stone | Cave Creek, AZ, USA
NGC 7380, also known as the Wizard Nebula, is an open star cluster within a nebula located in the constellation Cepheus. Located about 7,000 to 8,500 light-years away, it is a young star-forming region where stars are still emerging from the nebula of gas and dust they were born in. This young, energetic cluster is surrounded by gas sculpted by stellar winds and radiation into the "wizard" shape.
