Fullmoon above Orvieto Cathedral

The fullmoon of October, rising above one of the most beautiful churches in the world, Orvieto Cathedral.

More than 2.5 kilometres away from the church, for a few minutes, the moon rising next to the imposing façade created a magnificent orange dome, worthy of that beautiful rose window and bas-reliefs, and in keeping with the gold and colours of its rich mosaics.
