Mineral Supermoon
On 10/06/2025 07:30 pm by Shaurya Salunkhe | Pune, Maharashtra, India
This is the image of the first supermoon of 2025 on Oct 6th. It shows the mineral deposits on moon. The blue colors are a result of titanium oxides present in the region, and the orange/brown color is due to iron oxides.
These colors aren't visible to the naked eye, i took hundreds of inages of the lunar surface and compiled them to bring out these faint hidden colors of the moon. This is usually known as 'mineral moon' since it highlights the various minerals present on the lunar surface.
