Trumpet Swans

I have watched the Trumpeter Swans all season at Potter Marsh, Anchorage AK, the young are grown, and just need encouragement to fly. The parents are trying, demonstrating flight, they need to leave soon before winter comes, before turning around for another season with a larger number. These are the largest birds in North America, once nearly extinct they have recovered from a small remnant population in Alaska.
