Wax on...Wax off

Tonight I took photo (bottom) of the full "supermoon", "hunters moon", "harvest moon" in my backyard. It was mostly cloudy but I caught a quick shot before it was too late.
Last night I took photo (top) of the waxing gibbous moon at 97%. You can see on the left edge of the moon tonight was fully exposed ("wax off").
