The Sun Up Close At Sundown

At sunset today the upper rim of the sun had iridescent green portions that seems to be a precursor to the green flash. The green flash did occur albeit quite thin on top as the sun sank into the layer of marine clouds. The setting sun was a lovely sight as always.
