The Western Veil Nebula, also known as NGC 6960 or the Witch's Broom Nebula, is a supernova remnant located in the constellation Cygnus. It consists of heated and ionized gas and dust, and its filamentary structure is a result of shock waves from a massive star that exploded around 10,000 years ago.
