The Heat & Soul Nebulae
On 09/08/2025 10:28 pm by Ernest Jacobs | Website | Eden, NY USA
Exposure: 130 Subs at 180 sec each for 6 hours and 30 minutes of total exposure. The heart & Soul Nebulae are two large emission nebulae in the constellation Cassiopeia. Active star forming regions with star clusters associated that have young massive stars responsible for ionizing the gas. I think the Soul Nebula (also called the Embryo Nebula) looks like a stampeding Buffalo when oriented this way. I may be biased as I live near Buffalo, NY.
