G3 Aurora Flames

A beautiful G3 Aurora entertained us deep into the night. Looking straight north, this photo shows primarily lime green with yellow and crimson red “flames” as clouds begin to obscure the show. It was a pleasure to watch this aurora as it changed colour and structure dramatically until after midnight
