Last Quarter Moon
On 09/13/2025 11:06 pm by Harrison Walker | London
The Last Quarter Moon, showing the western side of the Moon.
The north-west quadrant has the Mare Imbrium, Mare Insularum, and the Oceanus Procellarum, along with the craters Plato, Aristarchus, Copernicus, and Kepler.
The south-west quadrant has the Mare Cognitum, Mare Nubium, and the Mare Humorum, along with craters Grimaldi, Byrgius, and Tycho.
I used an 8 inch Telescope to capture the Last Quarter Moon.
After capturing the image, I put labels of where mares and main craters are on the Moon.
