“Milky Way Above Lamayuru Monastery | Ladakh Night Sky Photography”

I had the privilege of capturing the Milky Way above Lamayuru Monastery in Ladakh – one of the most magical places in India. Using long exposure photography, I not only framed the monastery under a sky full of countless stars but also captured the light trails on the road, creating a surreal blend of stillness and motion. The ancient monastery stood silently under the galaxy, while the trails below brought the scene alive with energy and movement. This frame reflects the perfect harmony between spirituality, history, and the vast universe above us. Shooting the Milky Way in such a peaceful Himalayan location feels like connecting with something much bigger than ourselves. Truly, a moment where time slows down, and the night sky tells its own story.
