The Waning Moon - 98% Full
On 09/09/2025 09:52 pm by Mandy Daniels | Website | Derbyshire, UK
The Moon, one night after the eclipse and showing 98% waning phase at a distance of 363 644 km and an altitude of 25° 14', photographed at 21:52:30 UTC. Clear skies and the Moon's steadily increasing altitude allowed a lot of detail to be captured in the craters along the terminator on the right hand side.
