Up close and personal

This Eastern pond-hawk dragonfly didn't mind me getting close for a photo. As is typical with dragonflies, when it decided I'd gotten a little too close, it would just fly away for a moment, then return to the same spot. Joggers, dogs and bicyclists were using the paved path while I was photographing the dragonfly and it took all of the activity in stride.
