AR4191 Takes Centre Stage!
On 08/26/2025 04:28 pm by David Hawkes | South Yorkshire, UK
After an initially cloudy start, in the mid afternoon the clouds thinned out allowing this shot. Seeing was particularly clear at this time despite continued cloud presence. AR4191 takes the centre of the solar disk with a prominent cluster of regions including AR4195-97 in the south-east quadrant.
Skywatcher 200P 8” Newtonian, 9.5” Seymour Solar glass white light solar filter, Antares 1.5x Barlow lens, Baader UV/IR cut filter, Nikon Z7 II.
Registax 6 and other minor edits.
