Anna's Hummingbird

While in the desert town of Searchlight Nevada, it was nice to see several beautiful Anna's Hummingbirds in my sister's yard. We don't have them here on the east coast of North America. Unlike many other hummingbirds, they are not typically long distance migrants. They are year-round residents within their range.
