The Sun, it's brilliance softened by the clouds and the earth's atmosphere, slowly sinks into the marine cloud layer over the horizon. The ocean turned iridescent. The structure on the lowermost left is the red buoy on the half mile (0.80 kilometers) mark from the harbor.
