Mana Road Fire, Maunakea

This is the Mana Road brush fire, which scorched most of the vegetation on a pair of cinder cones on the east slope of Maunakea. Parts of it is still smoldering when I took this photo from Pu'u Huikau, another cinder cone adjacent to this. You can clearly see the firebreak road and some of the firefighting trucks monitoring for any flare ups.
