Ditchingham meteor storm

The best image that I have ever taken. It’s beautiful. My wife is pointing to Polaris in such an inspired way. I asked her to point in that direction, but at the time, the night sky was blank. Her hand is illuminated by the patio lights. To me, it’s wonderful.
Cannon EOS. 14 inch wide angle. F4, 800 iso. Tungsten light setting.
240 x 30 second exposures. Tripod and a lovely wife that would point to Polaris in the last frame. Stacked at the end. Beautiful results. I have captured some of the incredible asteroid showers. I asked Michelle on the last frame to point to Polaris. Chance? Educated guess. I love the colours in the garden, and I love the way her hand is illuminated. I have taken star trail images for years, but this one is very special to me. To me, the colours, the composition, and the effort is just beautiful.
