AR4168 and AR4165 (in Celestron C90)
On 08/07/2025 09:10 am by Carsten Blumenroether | Kostanay/ Kostanay region, Kazakhstan
On 7th August in rather hot weather I observed the sun with my little grab-and-go scope, a Celestron C90 from the 90s. As seeing wasn't so bad, I took some images of the active regions. Here I show the AR4168 and AR4165. Due to star diagonal up and down side is inverted.
Celestron C90 (f=1000mm), solar film filter, Baader Contrast Booster, ALCCD5-IIc.
Preparation with PIPP (80% of 3000 images, only GB- Channels), Stacking with AutoStakkert2, picture editing with Giotto and FitsWork.
