A Wizard in the Sky
On 07/14/2025 11:30 pm by EGIDIO VERGANI | Website | Campo Cecina Carrara and Milan (Italy)
NGC 7380, also known as the Wizard Nebula, is visible primarily in the Northern Hemisphere and contains numerous massive stars. Its distinctive appearance may be due in part to the remnants of the original molecular cloud from which the cluster formed. Its distance from Earth is approximately 7,200 light-years.
The photo was created by combining shots taken from Campo Cecina (Carrara) and the city of Milan, for a total of approximately 18 hours
