We live in a semi-rural spot so we have a wide open view from our home. Once I noticed a very dark sky to the west, I knew a storm was brewing. This is a growing supercell that resulted in 2 tornadoes, several inches of rain and hail as large as grapefruit. It left behind a lot of damaged homes, cars, trees and plants. Luckily, the tornadoes touched down in rural areas so they didn't cause any damage.
