2.5 Million Year Old Light

This image shows the #Andromeda Galaxy (M31) rising in the northeastern sky, captured from Gujrat, Pakistan. I included my own silhouette in the frame, pointing toward it a small gesture toward something unimaginably vast. Andromeda lies about 2.5 million light-years away, yet appears clearly to the naked eye from dark skies.
