Ghost Rising!

After an article in EarthSky a few years back about the "Ghost of the Summer Dawn", I captured Orion in early August. Then began a challenge to capture it in late July, with July 26th being the best up until this year. Summer day break captures is made more difficult by smoke from fires, atmosphere heat haze on the horizon in addition to the faint objects in the dawn sky. This year the Waning 2.1% Crescent Moon, Jupiter and Venus and a rising Orion made this a special capture. Bellatrix and Mintaka show their beautiful blue hue in PS when dodging. Enjoy!
