Decisions, decisions...

By standing quietly on a footbridge that spans a small creek in the midst of a wooded enclave, birds get used to me and will concentrate on more important matters than my presence. This gray catbird was no exception, wondering if the beetle should become part of its lunch. After a moment of reflection, it opted for berries which also make up a large portion of their diet. It repeatedly flew into and out of the dense overgrowth of the creek's trees and bushes, searching for, finding and then eating berries.
