SN 2025rbs in NGC 7331

On 07/21/2025 04:30 am by Scott Smith | Palmetto, Florida USA

Was finally able to capture the newly discovered supernova in the galaxy designated as NGC 7331.
Yeah it looks like another ‘white spot’ but understanding what it actually is, that’s what boggle my mind I can actually capture this from my backyard!

A supernova is a powerful and luminous stellar explosion, marking the death of a massive star. It occurs when a star exhausts its nuclear fuel and can no longer sustain its core through fusion. This leads to a catastrophic collapse, followed by a violent outward explosion.
